Today, I’m doing a quick check-in with this Ficus benjamina, which is part of my propagation series. I originally propagated this beauty from a small cutting using rooting hormone. I’m linking the playlist below so you can see how it all came together and how I now have a lovely little tree.
This plant was propagated in late January 2023 from a cutting with rooting hormone. The last check-in was over a year ago in June 2023. Since then, the plant has tripled in size! I also transplanted it recently into a naked root planter, which is a cool planter that has really helped this cutting—now officially a little tree—grow well. I’ll also link that video below.
As mentioned, this is just a quick check-in with this Ficus benjamina. I like to document the process so people can see how it worked and what the final results are. We’ll check in again in about a year, and by that time, it will probably have doubled in size again and developed some branching.
Thanks for stopping by today! Please leave any comments about indoor gardening tutorials you’d like to see. Remember to like, comment, subscribe, and share this video, and click the bell if you’d like to be notified when new videos are released.
