I love everything about dinosaurs,” Logan shares.Logan’s Tips for Terrarium Gardening
Logan offers a few steps to help other kids and adults try their hand at creating a terrarium:- Choose a Theme: “You can do a regular terrarium with mosses and plants, or pick a theme, which is more exciting. Think of your favorite things and narrow it down to one idea.”
- Pick Your Plants: Logan chose succulents that fit his dinosaur theme, opting for plants with a prehistoric look.
- Build the Terrarium: Logan suggests filling a glass bowl with soil, placing the plants, adding moss for a grassy effect, and finishing with themed decorations like figurines and rocks.
- Ensure Proper Lighting: Logan’s terrarium thrives under a full-spectrum light on a timer from 8 am to 8 pm daily, which helps his plants grow well.
- Mindful Watering: Logan carefully waters his succulents using a turkey baster, which allows him to direct water to the soil and keep it off the leaves, preventing rot.
